Special Needs Counselor working with and teaching young adults with disabilities.

- Part-time starting at $16.00 per hour, 5 to 6 1/2 hour shifts, 3-5 days per week (Monday-Friday) 11:00a or 12:00p to 5:00p. working 20-30 hours per week.
- Great job for someone who is not looking for a full 40-hour work so they can attend a school or be with family more.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching lessons in various subjects that you are familiar with as well as teaching life skills that will help our participants become more self-sufficient.
- Encourage activities that promote physical fitness and well-being.
- Staff also helps and supervises individual personal goals which are specific to each student.
- The staff takes turns preparing daily light lunches. and helps students with daily chore assignments.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or higher.
- Experience with people with disabilities.
- Must be someone who has empathy, compassion and patience.
